DuchessIsle of Wight Adoption Centre

"Hello, I'm the very gorgeous Duchess. Check out my latest video to see my personality captured perfectly.

I like to think of myself as an ever-so-refined cat, but my foster Mum and Dad say that I'm more like a dog, since I follow them around and always greet them at the door, when they come back from work or the shops.

I also just love to play and they must find me very entertaining, since I always seem to bring a smile to their face.

I've been looking for my forever home for some time now and I'm really not sure why people always walk past my little pen without saying hello. I consider myself quite a good catch - I can be very affectionate, chatty and full of life, so I'm pretty sure I'd make a wonderful companion and fun to have around. In fact, I'm a typical Tortie - bold, inquisitive and very loyal - and, yes a little unpredictable at times, but who wants a boring cat?

I'd love a home with a garden, not too near busy roads as I'm not all that road savvy (Duchesses get chauffeur service, don't you know!)

Do have a quick look at my show reels (see link below and on the home page). But best of all, please do come over and visit me. I'd love a chance to show you in person what a lovely little lady I am"

NB: Did you know that in traditional folklore, the Tortie was said to bring good luck? For this reason, they’re sometimes called “money cats” in the USA. And in Japan, they are believed to ward off evil spirits. Even today, it is still regarded as good luck in both Scotland and Ireland if a stray Tortie settles in your home. We certainly believe that any home with a Tortie is a very lucky home.

Duchess is neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped,vet health checked, treated for fleas and worms and comes with 4 weeks Pet Plan insurance.

Duchess cannot be rehomed to Alverstone.
