Adoption Procedure

We aim to make the adoption process as simple and straight forward as possible. Although the centre has been designed to give our cats as much comfort as possible during their stay with us nothing compares to a warm loving home. When you visit the centre you are free to view the cats in our homing wing and one of our cat care assistants will be on hand to offer assistance and information. You do not need to make an appointment to come to the centre during our opening hours.

Once you have chosen your cat, it will be reserved for you. We will give you an 'Information Pack' with details about your chosen cat to take home and read such as current diet plus some advice leaflets. It is really important to us that you rehome a cat that is best suited to you personally and your home environment so they happily remain with you for the rest of their lives.

Adoption Fees:
On average it costs us £175.00 for veterinary checks and treatments for each cat.  To assist towards some of these costs we charge an adoption fee of £50.00 for a cat or kitten.   If you would like to make a donation in addition to the adoption fee to help us continue the work we do, this would be very gratefully received!   Simply advise us at the time of adoption, and remember we may also be able to claim GiftAid on the donation amount received.  Every penny really does make a difference.
Our adoption fee includes neutering,at least first vaccination against enteritis, cat flu, leukaemia, micro-chip,vet health check, worm and flea treatment and 4 weeks free Petplan insurance.
